Matt Dooley grabs $2,000 payday in first victory of 2025 at Senoia Raceway
Kicking off the weekend in his Super Late Model, Matt Dooley checked into Penton (Ala.) Raceway on Friday evening to compete in the $7,000-to-win Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series show.
Putting down the third-quickest qualifying lap in his group, Dooley started the 40-lap feature from the third-row but did not finish the main event after getting caught up in a wreck. Matt was placed 16th in the running order.
Switching gears to the 604 Late Model division on Saturday, Dooley was one of 16 entries at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday for the Hence and Reba Pollard Memorial.
Starting fifth in the 20-lap main event, Matt wasted no time and drove to the lead on lap nine. Dooley held on to the top spot and collected the $2,000 payday over Colby Darda and Carson Ruark.
