Matt Dooley secures Rookie of the Year with Crate Racin' USA at Swainsboro
Preparations for the 2025 Season Underway
BROOKS, Ga. (12/02/24) – An impressive run in Saturday night’s Turkey 100 at Swainsboro Raceway highlighted Matt Dooley’s Rookie of the Year hunt with the Rogers-Dabbs Crate Racin’ USA 604 Series.
The driver of the Atlanta Coring / WesPro JCB Atlanta / Crown Security No. 98 Rocket Chassis Late Model clinched the 2024 Cruise with the Champions Rookie of the Year title with a 23rd-to-10th showing in the series finale at the Georgia oval.

Winning the CRUSA Rookie of the Year honors is a testament to all the hard work from everyone involved with my program."
As Crate Racin' USA 604 Series wrapped up its 2024 season, Dooley invaded Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia, on Friday afternoon to kick off the annual Turkey 100 weekend at the pristine facility.
Following an eighth-place outing in his heat, Dooley was forced to use a provisional into Saturday’s Turkey 100 finale after missing a transfer spot in his consolation race.
With a $10,000 top prize up for grabs in the main event, Matt stormed through the field 13 spots in the 50-lap affair to register a 10th-place finish.
The Top-10 run for Dooley solidified the 2024 Rookie of the Year honors with Crate Racin' USA 604 Series as he finished 56 points ahead of runner-up Bubba Roling.

The Brooks, Georgia, native ended his 2024 campaign with five wins, 15 Top-5’s, and 29 Top-10’s in 57 starts.
With the 2024 season now complete, Dooley is actively pursuing new marketing partners as he begins preparations for the 2025 season.
