Dooley suffers mechanical issues in Crate Racin' USA event at Senoia
Matt Dooley entered the Barry Copeland-owned No. 18 Rocket XR1 into Crate Racin' USA competition at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Saturday evening.
With a whopping 48 Late Models on site, Dooley laid down an impressive third-fastest lap in qualifying which placed him on the third-row of the 40-lap main event. With a $3,000 payday on the line, Matt ran inside the Top-5 before pullling off at the halfway point with mechanical issues. He was scored 23rd.
