Double Duty in Independence Shootout at Senoia Raceway
Matt Dooley spent his Fourth of July weekend at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) for the co-sanctioned Independence Shootout with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series and Ultimate Super Late Model Series along with competing in the 604 Late Model division.
With 39 Super Late Models in the pits, Dooley recorded a fifth-place outing in his heat and raced his way into the feature with a runner-up finish in his B-Main. With a $10,00 payday on the line, Matt moved forward seven spots to finish 12th.
In 604 Late Model competition, Matt was fifth-quickest in qualifying and gained one position in the feature to secure a fourth-place run.
